Pick-Up Pricing

Flat Fee or By the Ton?

How we price your pick-up depends on what you are hauling with. Here is how it works.

Flat Fee

Pickups and single axle dump trailers

  • Compact / Midsize Pickups (like the Ranger or Toyota Tacoma): hold about 1,000 to 1,600 pounds.
  • Full-Size Half-Ton Pickups (like the F-150 or Chevy Silverado 1500): hold about 1,400 to 2,400 pounds.
  • Single Axle Dump Trailers: typically have a payload capacity of 1,800 to 4,500 pounds.

Why is this a flat fee?

A flat fee keeps things simple for everyone. No weighing, no calculating. Just pull in, pick up your material and go!

The flat fee helps cover the time, equipment, loading and handling needed to get your material into your truck safely and efficiently, no matter how much or how little.

By the Ton

Duallys, double axle trailers and dump trucks

  • 1-Ton Dually Trucks (dual rear wheel): a modern dually has a maximum payload (bed capacity) ranging from roughly 4,500 to over 7,500 pounds.

Why is this weighed?

Weighing makes sure the load is within legal limits. Overloaded trucks can be harder to control, increase stopping distance, and put everyone on the road at risk.

Duallys, double axle trailers, and dump trucks are all weighed.

Our specialty products are always weighed. Please keep that in mind when asking about pricing.
